It reminds me of my youngest son, who happens to be a
whiz around computers. He can replace hard drives,
memory units on laptops and has built his own computer
system. But for the love of life, cannot do any kind
of maintenance on a car!
He called me last week and said he had been stopped by
Spokane's finest for having a headlamp out. He wanted
my permission to take it to Sears and have it
replaced. I said, Jon, this is only a headlamp.
Takes a phillips screwdriver, and loosen out two
screws, the headlamp retainer comes off, unplug the
lamp from behind, pull the lamp out, put the new one
in, put the plug in, and retainer, and screws. Piece
of cake! He said he couldn't do it. So momma told
him to go to sears. Cost $30.00 to replace one.
