Yesterday my wife and I went to a local small lake to do a little fishing (after shopping and yardwork was done, lol) Was very windy and water was quite murky so we could not see the Bass beds. My wife hooked into
her first and only fish (Hey Rocky, I caught more then her, lol) I thought it was a big bass at first then looking closer it looked like a Walleye (looks like dinner) but when she got it close to the bank it was a 6 to 7 pound dogfish (or bowfin, I will download pictures in a few days) took a few pictures and set it free, she caught it on a spinnerbait.
Myself I was using live nightcrawlers and free lining it and caught 4 largemouths (nothing larger the 12 inches) 2 carp in the 5 pound range, they we great fighters and a bunch of small gills. All fish were set free.
Have a great day, Marty __._,_.___
