aluminum boat. I have a 16' Lowe with 35 Evinrude (tiller) I built a
rear deck and seat tops from Honeycomb composite. This is extremely
lightweight (pick entire deck up with two small fingers)and never
rots. Use polyester not epoxy and it'll be super light + strong. With
the 35hp i cant open it up with two people in it as you cant keep it
in the water.(+- 50mph) I use mat/woven roving and leave the roving
"texture" up . Paint it with catalyzed urethane (satin finish) and
it's indestructible and nonslip. Hope this helps ..Randy
