Did you have any luck ... the lakes in Northern Illinois are also high but not as high as the lakes down South, a friend went fishing on the Fox River and said the water was around 4 to 5 feet higher then the norm with a no wake rule on the river right now, he had no luck.

I went to Carlyle lake this weekend to do some fishing and boating.
The lake was crazy flooded! It was about 10 to 12 feet above normal!
The parking lot where I usually load in (Allen Branch) was flooded by
several feet. Apache ramp was ok but the dock was completely missing.
