Welcome to the group! We have all kinds of fishing in
this group. I do all saltwater (mostly blue water)
probably because our desert island doesn't come with
any lakes, ponds, rivers, streams, etc. I was born
and raised in Hawaii, but I live in Kwajalein Atoll,
Marshall Islands which lies 2200 miles southwest of
Hawaii. I do visit Hawaii about two or three times a
year...just enough to visit my brother on Oahu, and my
Mom and Dad on Kauai. When I visit Kauai, I try to do
some freshwater fishing for bass, peacock bass, and
trout (in season). I occasionally do write some
stories about fishing here in the Central Pacific. My
wife and I live and work as contractors on a US
military base in the remote part of the Pacific, and
have been here for nine years. Hope to be here until
2016 when I turn 66 and finally retire again. The
fishing here is very, very good. Would you write some
stories of fishing there and include pictures too?
