group about one minute ago. I love to saltwater fish So Cal and
Mexican waters. My favorite spot is the East Cape in Baja. However
age is creeping up on me and I suppose my endurance and tolerence for
the long ride and camping have made this a memory. The last few years
I have tagged along with a friend who owned a 25' Whaler and we caught
albacore, yellowfin, yellowtail, dorado (mahi mahi), and a variety of
bait and misc. fish. We would go half way on fuel, food and at the
end of the trip, I would help clean up the boat for storage until the
next outing. He had several friends who wanted to go as well but two
was the ideal number for a vessel of this size. So I would wait for
his call when my turn came up. Sometimes sooner if one of these guys
was doing something and couldn't go. He moved...I'm stuck with a bad
case of fishingpox and can't get relief. I'm making the same offer of
costs and maintenance. Please, if you go out to fish and get drunk,
I'll pass. Serious fishermen (or women) only. Hope to hear from you
for the coming spring and summer. Thanks, Tom
